One row per treatment format. The sample is only the clinics that published a price on their own pages at this check: nothing a third party reported, nothing behind a questionnaire, and no pharmacy-counter prices, which are not comparable to a subscription.

Figures are the ongoing monthly price — what you pay from month two, where a clinic publishes an introductory rate that rises. Where only one price is published, that is the figure used. Read the spread column carefully: within a single treatment format a range can span a standard-strength product and a compounded prescription formulation, which are not the same product and should not be read as the same thing priced differently. Oral finasteride is the exception and the cleanest comparison on this page — every clinic dispenses the identical generic 1 mg tablet, and its range is $20 to $35.
How much of this market publishes a price
This is the finding that surprised us most, and the one worth watching. Of the 48 clinic–treatment combinations sold on subscription, 38 carry a price the clinic publishes itself. 8 are sold with no public price at all: you have to complete a medical questionnaire before the clinic will tell you what it charges. 10 of the 11 subscription clinics publish a price for at least one treatment; the rest publish none.
Dr. B is excluded from this count. It sells a $19 consultation and you then buy the tablets at a pharmacy, so it has no subscription price to publish or withhold, and counting it as a clinic hiding a price would be wrong.

What moved since the last check
- price riseHims · bundle or all-in-one — The Hair Power Pack went from $44 to $60 a month, a 36% rise, and the separately listed Hair Kit is gone.
- new feeLemonaid Health · consultation — The online visit, previously free, now costs $25.
- price withdrawnLemonaid Health · oral finasteride — Lemonaid no longer publishes a medication price; the figure now appears only after the questionnaire.
- price withdrawnKeeps — Keeps has removed prices from its public pages. It has also started selling a topical finasteride combination, which corrects an earlier note on this site.
- price withdrawnXYON Health — XYON has removed prices from its public pages; pricing is shown after intake.
- price withdrawnStrut Health · oral minoxidil — Strut has withdrawn its published oral minoxidil price.
- now publishedHers — Hers published a full price list for the first time: oral minoxidil $29, serums $35, non-prescription minoxidil $12.67.
- changedMangoRx · bundle or all-in-one — Now advertised as 'starting at $81/mo'.
- changedMusely — The hair range and its prices have changed, and Musely no longer names the active ingredients in its public listings.
- changedOana Health — Oana's prices now come from its own site rather than a blog post: oral minoxidil $25, spironolactone $28.
- our correctionRo (Roman) · oral finasteride — Ro's finasteride is $20 a month on the quarterly plan, $18 on six months and $16 on twelve. The $15 widely repeated by third-party reviews was never Ro's published price. This is a correction to this index, not a price rise.

How these figures are made
Every price is read from the clinic's own public pages and stamped with the date it was read. Nothing is estimated and nothing is carried over from a previous check without being re-read. The full method, including how a price earns each status stamp, is on the method page.
Three rules decide what goes into an average, and all three matter if you are quoting one:
- Published prices only. If a clinic did not show a price on its own pages at this check, it is not in the sample — even if a review site reports one. 8 combinations are excluded on this basis.
- No pharmacy-counter prices. Dr. B charges a $7 figure that is what a pharmacy charges for the tablets, not a clinic subscription. Averaging it against subscriptions would make the market look cheaper than it is, so consult-only clinics are reported separately on the cheapest pages and left out here.
- Ongoing price, not the headline. Where a clinic advertises an introductory rate, the figure used is what you pay from month two.
Using these figures
These figures are free to quote, in any publication, with a link to hairlossprices.com. No permission needed and no need to ask. If you want the underlying data, the CSV above is the whole check; if you want a figure this page does not show — a specific clinic, a longer history, a treatment broken down differently — email us and we will send it.
If you think a number here is wrong, that is worth more to us than a link. Every correction is logged in the changelog with the date it was made.
