19 Oct 2026 · Price re-check
Full price re-check across all twelve clinics
Every clinic re-read from its own pages. Ro corrected: finasteride is $20/mo on the quarterly plan, $18 on six months and $16 on twelve — not the $15 previously reported by third parties, and the conflicting-sources flag is now resolved. Lemonaid now charges $25 for the online visit and no longer publishes its medication price. MangoRx is starting at $81/mo. Hims' bundle is $60 (was $44) and it now lists an oral minoxidil chew at $35. Hers has published a full price list for the first time. Musely's hair range and prices have changed and it no longer names active ingredients. Oana's prices now come from its own site rather than a blog post. Strut has withdrawn its oral minoxidil price. Keeps now sells a topical finasteride combination, correcting an earlier note, but has removed prices from its public pages, as has XYON. Happy Head could not be read directly and its figures remain from a third-party source.
19 Oct 2026 · New section
Price tracker published, with the underlying data as a download
The index now publishes an aggregate figure for every treatment: median, average, lowest and highest monthly price across the clinics that published a price at the check. The sample excludes anything a clinic did not publish on its own pages, and excludes consult-only pharmacy prices, which are not comparable to a subscription; both exclusions are stated on the page with the sample size. The whole check is downloadable as a CSV and the figures are published under a Creative Commons Attribution licence, so anyone may quote them with a link. Every later re-check is added to the page rather than replacing it, so the figures can be compared over time.
26 Aug 2026 · Launch
Index launched with 12 providers and 9 treatment formats
First public build. Every price was read from published sources on 26 August 2026 and is labelled 'checkout check pending' until it has been confirmed on the provider's own checkout page. Affiliate links are not yet active; every button goes straight to the provider.
