Happy Head vs MangoRx
Happy Head: A dermatologist-led compounding service that has stopped publishing what anything costs. Its own FAQ gives one figure - compounded formulas run $59 to $119 a month - and the price for your formula appears only after you have finished the questionnaire.
MangoRx: A single chewable (minoxidil, finasteride, biotin, vitamin D3) from a small NASDAQ-listed company. Convenient, expensive, not available in nine states.

| Watch out for | You cannot find out what Happy Head will charge you without completing a dermatology questionnaire first. Every per-product price it used to publish was gone by October 2026; the only number on the site is a $59-$119 range for compounded formulas, and the standalone orals are described as cheaper without saying by how much. Re-checked by hand on 24 Oct 2026. | Starting at $81 a month, several times the cost of the same generics elsewhere. |
